Narrative
MONTAGUE, NJ – A motorcyclist form Vernon died on Sunday night after his bike collided with a minivan along the highway in Montague.
The incident happened around 5:15 p.m. near mile marker 52 on Route 23, which is just southwest of the border between New Jersey and New York.
Police say that a southbound motorcycle struck a minivan as the latter vehicle attempted to make a left turn.
The force of the collision ejected the motorcyclist from his bike, and he died at the scene of the accident. Authorities identified him as 20-year-old Ryan Woodstead.
No other injuries have been reported thus far in connection to the accident. A full investigation is underway.
