BEACH HAVEN, NJ – An elderly woman was killed Monday when she was stuck by a vehicle in Beach Haven.

Police say the unidentified 78-year-old woman was hit while crossing an unspecified street against the walk sign. She was pronounced dead a short time later.

The driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with police. No charges are expected to be filed at this time.
