NEWARK, NJ – A woman went to the hospital in Newark Wednesday morning after a hit-and-run driver struck her in the Central Ward area.
The incident happened around 6:45 p.m. at the intersection of Prince Street and Court Street, which is at the southwest corner of Hank Aaron Field.
Police say that the force of the collision caused the woman’s car to overturn, at which point it struck two parked cars, The woman became trapped and required extrication but is now in stable condition.
A full investigation is underway, as police search for the hit-and-run driver and vehicle.
