CRANBURY, NJ – Emergency teams reported at least seven injuries Monday night in a two-vehicle crash along the New Jersey Turnpike in Cranbury.
The accident happened on the around 9:08 p.m. on the northbound side near milepost 69.5.
There’s no word yet regarding the cause of the collision. Police say that both vehicles overturned as a result of the crash and that one of the cars ignited.
It’s unclear how many people required hospitalization.
The crash caused significant delays along the northbound side of the turnpike for at least two hours while crews attended to the victims and worked to clear the scene.
