Narrative
MANVILLE, NJ – Three drivers were hospitalized Friday afternoon after a multi-vehicle collision at a busy intersection in Manville.
The incident happened around 1:27 p.m. at the intersection of North Main Street and Dukes Parkway East, which is just east of Dukes Parkway Park.
The circumstances of the accident are still unclear. Police say that three vehicles — a Mercedes, Honda Pilot and a Chevy Traverse — collided at the intersection, trapping the drivers inside.
Crews worked to extricate the drivers, all of who sustained serious injuries. Medics airlifted one of the drivers to a hospital in New Brunswick.
A full investigation is underway to determine the cause of the crash.
