Narrative
PITTSTOWN, NJ – A 16-year-old girl died, and at least four others were hurt Thursday in a two-vehicle crash along the highway in Pittstown.
The accident occurred at the intersection of Sidney Road and Lower Landsdown Road, which is just north of the Franklin Municipal Building.
Police haven’t yet shared any details regarding the cause of the collision. They say the victim was a student at North Hunterdon High School and died at the scene of the accident. She was on her way to school at the time of the crash.
Medics transported four others from the same vehicle to the hospital — one with critical injuries.
The driver of the second vehicle did not require hospitalization.
A full investigation is underway.
