SECAUCUS, NJ – A motorcyclist died last Wednesday afternoon when a police chase ended in a collision with an SUV at a Secaucus intersection.
The incident happened around 12:22 p.m. at the intersection of County Avenue and Charles Street, which is just south of Shetik Field.
Police say the motorcyclist fled from an attempted traffic stop and collided with an SUV. The force of the collision threw the motorcyclist from his bike, and he died after transport to a local hospital.
Authorities have not yet released the name of the deceased.
The occupants of the SUV were not hurt in the accident.
