Narrative

GLOUCESTER CITY, NJ – A motorcyclist died Friday in a major crash along the interstate in Gloucester City.

The accident happened at 9:40 p.m. on I-76 southbound near milepost 1. This is on the east side of the city.

Police say that a motorcyclist was thrown from his bike when an SUV cut him off. Another SUV then struck the biker in the roadway.

Authorities identified the victim as 25-year-old Ryan Gaskill.

The driver of the second SUV stopped to render aid and speak with police. The driver of the first SUV continued travelling on I-76.

A full investigation is underway.
