Narrative
FORT LEE, NJ – A pedestrian died Wednesday after a New Jersey transit bus struck him at a busy intersection in southeast Bergen County.
The accident happened at 5:20 a.m. at Lemoine Avenue and Bruce Reynolds Boulevard, which is south of US-9 and west of Fort Lee Historic Park.
The investigation indicates that a transit bus headed to New York turned left onto Bruce Reynolds and struck a 60-year-old male pedestrian as he was crossing the street at Lemoine Avenue.
The pedestrian died after transport to a local hospital.
The investigation is ongoing.
