Narrative
TEANECK, NJ – A 38-year-old man died, and another man went to the hospital after a solo crash along the interstate in Teaneck.
The incident happened around 3:08 a.m. Saturday on the eastbound side of I-80 near mile marker 68, which is just west of the junction with I-95.
The investigation indicates that for unknown reasons, 40-year-old Julio Brito lost control of his vehicle and hit a concrete divider on the interstate.
Medics transported Brito to the hospital with serious injuries. His passenger, identified as Richard Bahamonte, died from injuries sustained in the accidnet.
The investigation is ongoing.
