Narrative
MANAHAWKIN, NJ – A 24-year-old man died on Wednesday after losing control of his vehicle and crashing along the highway in Manahawkin.
The incident happened around 1:18 a.m. on the northbound side of the Garden State Parkway just past NJ-72, which is just northeast of Stafford Township Arts Center (STAC).
Police say the victim, identified as Mr. Liam J. Powers, left the roadway and collided with several trees. He then died from injuries sustained in the crash.
A full investigation is underway.
