Narrative

CARNEYS POINT, NJ – A New York man was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Carneys Point on Saturday morning.

The incident took place at approximately 9:43 a.m. as the Jeep, traveling northbound, collided with the concrete barrier, causing it to overturn and become fully engulfed in flames.

The driver, 77-year-old Henry Subin, of Katonah, N.Y. suffered fatal injuries in the crash.

In response to the crash, authorities closed off four lanes at Interchange 1 of the plaza for a duration of four hours, as confirmed by law enforcement officials.
